CES Women follow a career path in STEM

IMG_1785.jpg

CES recognizes and applauds the women graduates from CES Kenya who pursue studies and a career in the Sciences. One third of our alumnae are now committed to following this path of employment.

The gender imbalance is shifting in Kenya with more girls in school. However, they do not always have the same opportunities as boys to benefit from an education of their choice. Too many girls and women are held back by biases, social norms and expectations. They are particularly under-represented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, and consequently in STEM careers.

Kudos to our CES graduates in STEM for helping to break down the barriers for women to succeed in the Science professions.
